Lore Tokens: 

Lore tokens allow you to add a "description" to an item. This appears as purple text under the item. The lore token appears as a writable book.

Obtaining:

Use:

Step 1: 

Open the book, and replace the text with what you want it to say. Click done to save the text. You can only put 80 characters. Line breaks and extra pages will be ignored. 

 

Step 2:

Place the item you want to give lore too in the first slot of an anvil. Place the lore token in the second slot. This will give you the signed item. This will take one level, previous repairs and enchantments will not affect the levels needed to add a lore token.  

You will now have a usable tool armor or item that will be fully usable and will have a personalized detail on it!
